Police: Lincolnton Man Arrested, Woman Wanted For Fraud

Lincolnton, N.C. — Police made an arrest and are searching for a second person for obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery.

Toni Danielle Sronce, 31, is wanted in the National Criminal Information Center for felony offenses. According to the press release, a report was filed for fraudulent prescription for a controlled substance being filled and through video evidence the prescription was passed by both suspects.

Jason Lee Self, 33, also goes by the nickname of “Lumpy” was arrested by Cherryville Police Department Wednesday morning. He was then turned over to Lincolnton Police Department and placed in the Lincoln County Jail. Self has his first appearance in Lincoln County District Court on Wednesday.

Sronce is still wanted.

Sronce has previous convictions of breaking and entering, larceny, identity theft, PWIMSD cocaine, obtaining property by false pretense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
