Queen Elizabeth’s home movies to feature in new documentary

Queen Elizabeth’s never-seen-before home movies are set to feature in a new BBC documentary.

The 96-year-old monarch’s life will be the focus of ‘Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen’, a 75-minute documentary that will include behind-the-scenes footage from landmark moments in her reign.

Simon Young, the BBC’s commissioning editor for history, said: “This documentary is an extraordinary glimpse into a deeply personal side of the royal family that is rarely seen, and it’s wonderful to be able to share it with the nation as we mark her Platinum Jubilee.” Get more here:

Benedict Cumberbatch joked about Will Smith’s Oscars controversy in his ‘Saturday Night Live’ monologue.

The 45-year-old star was nominated for the Best Actor gong at the Academy Awards for his performance in ‘The Power of the Dog’ – but Benedict ultimately lost out to Will, whose success was overshadowed by his clash with Chris Rock.

Rick Astley teases new music

Rick Astley has hinted at releasing a new record.

The 56-year-old singer is best-known for his successes in the 80s, including his 1987 hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ – but Rick loves seeing fans embrace his new material and he’s hinted that more could be in the pipeline.

He told Retro Pop magazine: “I’ve loved this last couple of years of making some new records and getting back into that.” Find out more here:
