Michigan judge Alexis Krot is getting national attention after she berated a 72-year-old cancer patient for his unkempt yard.
The man was brought to court for a city ordinance violation. His son said he’s undergoing chemotherapy for cancer of the lymph nodes.
His illness didn’t get any sympathy from the judge. “That’s very rude, telling a cancer patient that he should go to jail,” said Shibbir Chowdhury, the defendant’s son.
