2022’s Gerber baby search underway, seeks child with ‘irresistible giggle’

The search for the next Gerber baby is underway.
Parents can enter by submitting pictures and videos “of their little ones smiling and giggling.” The winner will serve as the 2022 “Spokesbaby” and the Chief Growing Officer, a title started last year with Zane Kahin.
Babies must be between newborn age and 4 years old.
“An irresistible giggle is strongly preferred,” Gerber says, “as well as an undeniably loveable personality — no corporate experience required.”
Entries will be accepted until Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Parents can submit entries here and see all the rules here.
Gerber will donate $25,000 to March of Dimes. The amount matches the prize money for the winner.
“Babies have the power to unite us through their happiness, and we at Gerber support furthering the joy and wellbeing of all babies,” said Tarun Malkani, Gerber president & CEO.
The winner will be featured on Gerber’s social media channels and marketing campaigns throughout the year and receive $25,000 and a selection of Gerber products. Additional surprise perks for the Chief Growing Officer will be announced in the near future.
A panel of judges will evaluate entries based on visual appeal of the child, expressiveness of child and consistency with Gerber’s heritage.
