In this second episode, the Lee Weather team — Matt Holiner of Lee Enterprises’ Midwest group in Chicago, Kirsten Lang of the Tulsa World in Oklahoma, Joe Martucci of the Press of Atlantic City, N.J., and Sean Sublette of the Richmond Times-Dispatch in Virginia — is joined by Dr. Theresa Crimmins to discuss the science behind spring blooms and allergens.

Crimmins, Director for the USA National Phenology Network, has been with the organization since 2007. She received a B.S. and M.A at Western Michigan University and a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. In her current role, she works to support the growth and use of phenology data and resources curated by the organization.
